thinking Training - Gates of Possibility

We humans are not static. Our emotions and memories are constantly determining our moods and attitudes. We are in constant turn even when we deny that we change. Each moment takes us further along our life journey and each of those moments we have never experienced before.

We view the world through the lenses of our current mood, our beliefs, our memories and habits. Our moods in turn work on how we behave and think at any moment. This leaves us feeling less in control of ourselves at some times and more in control at other times.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a skill that would enable to find more of what we need at any moment, a formula of focusing on a joyful, strengthening emotion that changes our mood and gives us more trust in our selves?

The Gates of Possibility

This is a daydream exercise that takes you into a feeling of calmness and peace and inner balance. When our minds are peaceful, learning becomes easier.

Find a quiet spot and put on some peaceful music in the background. Sink into a beloved chair or just find a place where you can relax. You can start with a progressive freedom exercise if you wish.

It helps to know before you start what you want to accomplish with this exercise.

1) Close your eyes. Focus inward and think of a word you like. recognize all the ideas that you get from thinking of that word. Find as many pleasant associations as you perhaps can imagine. Do not strain. Just let your mind drift always arrival back to your chosen word and looking for new ideas.

Focusing inward means that you are no longer aware of your surroundings. Your eyes have no focus and your body begins to relax. You are playing a thinking game of word association.

For example, my word is 'gates'. So may gates lead to adventure and discovery. Gates reminds of my childhood home in the northern reaches of Canada. My father and uncle built a stone fence along the front of our house. I have many happy memories of my childhood there and it is from that house that I left to start my own independent life journey. through those gates I discovered many possibilities.

2) Still focusing inwardly, start to think of something you would like to feel or turn about yourself, something that you would like to have more of.

I see in my mind's eye the word 'confidence'. This is something I can always use more of.

3) Remaining inwardly focused start to feel and recognize what your feelings and emotions will be like with this turn in feelings.

I begin by thinking of the word 'confidence' and moderately see it covering me like a suit of clothes. Somewhere I have felt sure before. I remember this. I see it fitting snugly all over me and I feel a surge of joy and pleasure and confidence. I think about it feeling stronger and stronger by the moment.

4) Then I begin to imagine where and when I could use this new confidence. I see myself going to parties and introducing myself to strangers. I see myself leading a meeting. I see myself speaking in communal before a large audience. I see my relationships with my family enhancing because I am happier.

5) ultimately I ask my unconscious mind to re-evaluate and accommodated the change. I believe that it will happen! Then I let it go. I go about the rest of my day. And I leave this exercise feeling happy and confident. It feels good. My mood has changed.

History of Happiness

This whole exercise can go on from a few minutes to half an hour. And you can do this with any idea that will benefit you. You can start to turn your self-limiting beliefs like "I can't to this because..." or growth your happiness, confidence, assertiveness, courage or anything you choose.

And don't forget to enjoy the moment even if all you get out of it is a moment of peace. Repaymen yourself for having completed the task. Do this as often as you feel the need with the same word or distinct words.

You are victorious even if you only go through the task and have made the effort to recognize new things and ways.

Remember to add this to your history of happy and victorious moments.

Personal Pyramid

As a young man I often did not appreciate many of the things that were being taught to me in school. It's not until you start to age that you look back on things and wish you had applied yourself just a slight more.

Just recently I stumbled onto some information about The Great Pyramid of Giza. This is something that I should have paid more attention to in school. Having friends that work daily as ironworkers and discussing what type of work goes into their daily job actually makes your jaw drop when you ponder the work that was required to build one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

This pyramid has a base that covers over 13 acres and its volume is colse to 90,000,000 cubic feet. It is made up of over 2 ½ million blocks of limestone, which weigh from 2 to 70 tons each. This is massive. I'll bet that during its construction there wasn't a whole lot of time to play Xbox!

Well thinking about the estimate of manpower that must have been used to institute this heavy pyramid got me thinking about how difficult the work was. So, I decided to institute my own pyramid, straight through my workout that is. In this issue of construction the Beast I wanted to show off my Personal Pyramid.

The Tools Required:

o a workout partner

o at least 3 flights of steps (for this workout my partner and I use 6 flights)

o med ball

o weighted vest (this is actually optional and use judgment on the weight of the vest)

o thinking toughness

o a touch of desire

The Throwing Movements:

o two-arm chest pass

o over-head throw

o transmit keg scoop (like a granny toss)

o backward keg scoop

o twisting rotational side toss

The Workday:

The appropriate protocol for our workout has been 5 of each throw variation followed by the running of the stairs. This can be adjusted based on your current strengths and conditioning levels. The throws can be mixed up for your pleasure!

Let's get started!

With your weighted vests on we start off by simply running all 6 flights of steps 5 times. This works as a great warm-up and actually gets the sweat started on the brow. We run these at a moderate pace, remember it's just a prep.

Have your partner stand at the top of the 1st flight of steps. You start by throwing the treatment ball up to your partner in a chest pass fashion and he tosses it back down to you. Continue for 5 reps of this movement and on completion you must run to the top (or what you have designated the top) of the stairwell. You will then run back down the steps stopping 1 flight short of the bottom. Your partner will have moved up one flight to be above you once more. Now you pick the med-ball back up and throw 5 more times, and then run back up to the top again. This time when you run back down you will stop 2 flights short of the bottom. You continue in this fashion until you and your partner are both standing on the top flight of steps. Now it is your partner's turn while you rest a slight by catching his or her passes. But, that's only one movement - the chest pass. You still have 4 more movements to unblemished in the same manor.

The pace of this workout should be in a continuous manor. You will get time to rest while your partner is bust'n his or hers.

The Conclusion:

I call it "Speed to Market." How swiftly can they execute on something. To me, hitting the amount is important but to be truly world class, you need some other dynamics at play.

For instance, you need good team work, organization, communication, commitment, focus -- and how about firm continuity? You need a way to recover if your best and brightest somehow get hit by a bus -- either that bus is a competitor stealing your citizen or someone else business plucking the brightest sales reps out of your industry. Many components and strategies are needed to originate a world class organization, but let me get back to "Speed to Market."

How swiftly can your society talk to a new edict and drive it straight through the internal and external ranks? Maybe it is a product recall, an urgent sales opportunity or other communication they need to "get out to the prospects and customers" and/or move the customers to take action. You see, a drill like this -- and it's normally not a drill -- is a needful measurement of the effectiveness (the structure, the organizational skills, communication skills, teamwork, fitness, etc.) of the team.

If your team were given a blitz or some other immediate campaign to execute on, would it cripple them? Bring them down to their knees? Or would they smile gladly and get it done? The best of the best sales teams are capable of staying on procedure And taking on an urgent campaign. They strap on that extra duty for real because they are organized and crisp in their day-to-day execution.

Someone has taken the time to set up the course to make sure no one is ever in the line of fire. This takes time and attempt to frame out the route of each 3D target. The Exercises

Situps - Lay down on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Curl your body up of the ground so that you are "sitting up." Continue this request for retrial for 20 seconds, with 10 seconds rest. Repeat 7 more times before animated onto the next exercise.

I can go on and on and tell you story after story of functional impel and still 99% percent will never understand what real functional fitness is.

It's easy to go to the gym, but not so easy daily to get up and labor all day and still hit the garage or basement for a work out.

Like I said blue collar employee will switch jobs and will continue to strengthen their body over time they also have to use their mind and body, the white collar employee just switches chairs and the body still gets weak.

A white collar man can work with an injury the blue collar man needs to keep working, and over time the injury goes away or gets worse, but most blue collar workers go on and forget about it and over time it goes away, the white collar employee has abundance of time to rest and get better.

This is not an attack blue collar vs. White collar I just think most books on corporeal fitness or functional fitness are written by men who indubitably have no real life feel except from what they read in books very few are written by men who have put in any real time.

Try this for a test if you have the guts, most won't and most will think it's a waste of time but for the man that wants a labor type challenge try it.

You need a sand bag or a heavy bag between 50 lbs to 100lbs and a place to walk, a football field would be good or your back yard.

I like a heavy bag because of the toughness to grip it.

For 30 minutes non stop you grab your heavy bag or sand bag shoulder it and walk 50 yards drop the bag as soon as it touches the ground shoulder it again using the other shoulder and walk back 50 yards and continue this for 30 minutes and feel the pain your body is going straight through and think about the pain you will be in for days.

Think it's too easy try doing 20 pushups every time you drop the bag, get up throw on your shoulder and go again.

Magnetism - Not Just For Animals

A very spiritual woman I know shared the following with me: she said, 'I used to have unfortunate beliefs about myself and I received back from external influences unfortunate results. When I decided to take control and raise my resonance, to be the change I wanted to become, to allow plenty and love come flow through me, no ifs ands or buts all fell into place. I am now living a life of relaxation with a gorgeous husband and I can draw what I want into my universe at will.'

What does it take to be a love magnet, or a money magnet, or a condition magnet?

It takes a shift in perception and really, that's all it takes.

We choose what to focus on. We choose to be no ifs ands or buts bummed out when it rains, or we choose to appreciate the downpour as a great opening to take care of indoor activities, or even better, to leave the umbrella at home and go for a walk. One person's inconvenience is another's puddle splashing fun.

When we focus on good, good comes to us. When we focus on grief, we grieve. This is not to say there's no place for grief in life, it's just to say, we need to be mindful that we're not suffering over our own suffering. We do not need to be grief magnets.

I overheard a girl in a cafe the other day telling her friend, 'I'm a freak magnet. I can't leave my apartment without running into someone whether clinically insane or whacked out on drugs or fanatical about some weirdness who wants to have allinclusive interaction with me.'

The friend responded, 'That's so strange. You live in a no ifs ands or buts nice place, in a no ifs ands or buts nice neighborhood. You wouldn't think there'd be that many weirdos around.'

'They're in any place I am. It's like they're out there waiting for me to leave my house just so they can shout in my face or try to get me to join their cult.'

I opinion to myself how awful it was for this girl to have this confidence about herself, that no matter where she goes, no matter what she's doing, she's going to draw the lowest tasteless denominator to her.

This is no ifs ands or buts how attraction works. What you think about yourself, you are. What you believe about the world, is your reality. What you speak, is your truth.

I approximately wanted to say to her, 'You know, you could just as no ifs ands or buts not be a 'freak magnet' by naturally telling yourself that you're other kind of magnet.' Then I realized that, sadly, my intrusion would only supplementary confirm her self-diagnosis and she'd misinterpret my advice as more freakery, as in, 'Yeah, this guy came up to me in the caf and told me to be other kind of magnet. He looked pretty normal, but what a freak!'

So anyone your beliefs are about the world, I implore you, take this freak's advice and adjust it to bring you all that you ever wanted and not the lowest tasteless denominator.

The different Types of Hgvs

Before you collect your Hgv application and Dvla curative form it is foremost to think the range of separate Hgv licenses that can be applied for. Once this licence is obtained a provisional D1 and E licence can be applied for. Acquiring the D1 licence which allows Vehicles to be driven with nine to sixteen passenger seats and a trailer of up to 750kg can then allow you to apply for the D and E provisional licence and in turn collect the D kind driving licence. This allows you to legally control any bus with more than eight passenger seats with a trailer over 750kg.  Upgrades also apply when you have passed a test in a larger vehicle in turn upgrading a lower kind for example, a lorry licence can upgrade a bus and car licence. It is also foremost to note that if you are a member of the armed services C, C&E, D1 & D1 & E licences can be acquired at the age of 17.  Other licences comprise the G and H categories which cover road rollers and tracked vehicles.

Thinking for many in sales has come to be an obstacle for success. Napoleon Hill saw that in his book Think and Grow Rich. Community has come to be even a greater abyss of non-thinkers, conformists, who take the thoughts of others for truth. For example, if you hear that the cheaper is bad, will you go with the flow or believe something else?

There is a video traveling cyberspace about the forthcoming union of Mexico, U.S. And Canada to form North American Union perfect with supporting facts (?). And population genuinely believe this to be true. What is distinction in the middle of this video and the current confidence about the economy?

And through all this, she delivered her third child in early September and has been working from home since that time.

Plans have been established for 2008 goals where we are using 33% as the increase. And here is where it gets interesting. When we started working together she told me that "I do not think I can perform this sales goal." She was very nervous. And goal setting does make a lot of population uncomfortable because it makes you think. Now with that goal achieved, she once again said "I do not think I can perform this goal." Her not mental is her obstacle to selling more not It is the cheaper stupid.

By not thinking, we come to be what we think about, nothing, a shadow of someone else, a non-entity, a whisp in the wind. No wonder many population in sales never realize the success that they are seeking not to mention population in general who want business or personal success.

Not mental has been a continual challenge for man. The Roman Emperor, Marcus Aurelius, saw that when he said: "A man's life is what his thoughts make of it." Fifteen hundred years later, Ralph Waldo Emerson echoed Aurelius when he said: "A man is what he thinks about all day long."

How does one turn the tide away from not-thinking to thinking? program some time to think. Read a sales tip book and then ask yourself. Does this make sense? How do I know that this makes sense? Are my thoughts like a public trade from what I have read, heard or are they truly mine own? What thoughts are retention me from sales success?

And if that does not work, then take a class to improve your sales skills or hiring a sales coach, business coach or administrative who can help you through a business training coaching program. What activity you take, take some activity if you truly want to growth sales.

Best 3D Movies on Dvd to Play on Your Blu Ray 3D Dvd Player

The arrival 3D revolution will have to rely heavily on other factors than just 3D capable Tv, such as transcoding the best 3D movies on Dvd and of cause a Blu Ray 3D Dvd player to play them on, if it is to enounce enough momentum to see it through the initial open stages.

A big factor has to be if these clubs can get even close to the 3D cinema feel movie goers are getting at gift from the likes of Bolt an lively movie shot in 3D, Up and Avatar. A good pointer and perhaps a sign of things to come are those movies in the pipeline. Toy Story 3 and Shrek goes Forth are penciled in to be shot in three size and older films getting the 3D magic are Tim Burton's The nightmare Before Christmas and also Chicken Little.

Movie Review: colossal 3D (2012) (Pg-13)

A New size for Cameron's Ship of Dreams

The up-to-date trend of converting old films to 3D and rereleasing them theatrically has kept me in an approximately constant state of recollection. The perceive of finding James Cameron's Titanic 3D has put me back into that state, and for the time being, it ranks as the most vivid, the most powerful, and the most personal of any 3D rerelease I've seen. It called to mind my days as a juvenile Titanic historian (very much of the amateur division) and, to an even stronger degree, my talent for drawing, which I sadly gave up on. Most of all, it called to mind memories of finding the film for the first time in December of 1997 and watching it win the Oscar for Best picture and become the most financially victorious movie ever made - only to be surpassed twelve years later by Avatar, again directed by James Cameron.

Fifteen years have passed, and my interest in the ship itself has dimmed. For the purposes of watching the 3D rerelease, this is well a good thing; I was now great able to appreciate the film on article and emotional levels. As a fourteen-year-old, I responded in general to its technical aspects, not the least of which was the work that went into recreating the ship. Cameron strove for excruciating detail, and it paid off. With a composition of full-sized set replicas, discrete scale models, and computer generated imagery, he brought the ship back to life. I still answer to all this as a twenty-eight-year-old, but now I see so much more, namely how the film is a beautiful and engrossing romantic melodrama. Each character fits so neatly into an archetype that they all seem to belong within the pages of a popular storybook.

This is one of the few films I've seen in which so many personel shots resonate with power. A few are sweeping and majestic, as when the camera pulls back from Leonardo DiCaprio standing on the railing at the prow of the ship; it rises up, zooming above the bridge and the sun deck, cuts straight through a plume of smoke billowing from one of the funnels, and continues until it passes the stern, at which point we watch it momentarily pilotage off onto the horizon. Most are haunting, as when the ship has already sank and Kate Winslet surfaces for air; the camera pulls back from her, moderately revealing a sea of hapless passengers screaming and fighting to stay afloat in the frigid waters of the North Atlantic.

The list goes on. There's the occasion when the camera speedily zooms backwards down a hallway as water rushes in, casing doors to fly off their hinges. There's the first shot of the massive rudder and propellers emerging from the water as the ship sinks bow-first. There's the scene where torrents of water ultimately break straight through the glass dome over the Grand Staircase. There's the shot of a steerage passenger comforting her children with a religious fable as they lie in bed, for she knows that they never had a opening at manufacture it off the sinking ship alive. There are the ship's final death throes, starting when it dramatically breaks in two and ending with the stern briefly floating on the water vertically, the passengers falling and bumping against railings. And then there's the scene in which a lifeboat rows straight through a sea of frosty bodies. We immediately take observation of a mum clutching her child to her chest.

That the film is a triumph of sheer spectacle, there can be no question. I knew that back in 1997. What I moderately picked up on over years of home viewings, and what I ultimately realized upon finding it once again on the big screen, is just how good this movie is at being a love story. Titanic is high romance in the best inherent sense - a tale of star-crossed lovers and secrets that stay buried in time, only to be uncovered by covering forces. I've been critical of Cameron's screenwriting skills, specifically in regards to dialogue, for which he has a tin ear; in the case of Titanic, part of the charm is that the dialogue is as overtly theatrical as the plot. You listen to the characters talk and know you're being immersed in a style that's intended to be heightened and old-fashioned.

Apart from the fact that we've now reached the centennial of the ship's sinking, the main selling point of this rerelease is, of course, the 3D. The process has its moments of effectiveness; the best-looking scenes are the ones with rows of habitancy standing at discrete distances from the camera. But in general, the new 3D effects don't originate a critical sense of depth, and the brightness is noticeably reduced. The most disappointing scenes, in terms of dimension, are the sinking and the present-day expedition of the wreck. I understand Cameron's enthusiasm for 3D, which he has been vocal about, although I wonder if he realizes that he already had a masterpiece and that the conversion was unnecessary. I didn't need an extra size to appreciate Titanic 3D. The story, the characters, and the technical authenticity are more than enough.
