Blue collar workers use their mind as well as their body the white collar employee uses his mind while the body grows weak.
Toughness is working 8 to 12 or more hours a day doing back breaking work than finding time to train day in and day out not giving your body time to rest.
Yet, still the body adapts to the overloaded stress put on it, while the white collar book readers try to convince you that they know what functional impel indubitably is.
Real functional impel does not come from 1 hour a day 3 times a week for one month, it comes from years of sweat and pain this is how corporeal and thinking toughness is built, it's not built behind a desk or read in any book, true functional fitness comes from hard work and a condense of the attitude.
Most laborers won't train at all, most are too tired, I have only known a very few that indubitably train and today it's rare, check it out for yourself, and I'm not talking a part time labor job or something man did for the summer I'm talking about the man that does it for life does it for a living.
You may hear stories and may even know someone, but for the most part it doesn't happen. Just because man lifts weights put's a chain nearby his neck for 20 seconds of work to do pushups doesn't give him scholar status and neither does a ripped set of abs or the crack addict would be an ab expert.
I have seen many jacked up men fail miserably at labor; their body could just not hold up, finding good but weak physically and mentally in real life.
Ever see a man who didn't lift weights grab a 220lb thick pipe with no handles and press it over head? How about involving a 800 lb bundle of pipe by hand? How about shouldering 200 lb rolls of fabric and walking them to someone else area, using only your body, using no equipment.
I can go on and on and tell you story after story of functional impel and still 99% percent will never understand what real functional fitness is.
It's easy to go to the gym, but not so easy daily to get up and labor all day and still hit the garage or basement for a work out.
Like I said blue collar employee will switch jobs and will continue to strengthen their body over time they also have to use their mind and body, the white collar employee just switches chairs and the body still gets weak.
A white collar man can work with an injury the blue collar man needs to keep working, and over time the injury goes away or gets worse, but most blue collar workers go on and forget about it and over time it goes away, the white collar employee has abundance of time to rest and get better.
This is not an attack blue collar vs. White collar I just think most books on corporeal fitness or functional fitness are written by men who indubitably have no real life feel except from what they read in books very few are written by men who have put in any real time.
Try this for a test if you have the guts, most won't and most will think it's a waste of time but for the man that wants a labor type challenge try it.
You need a sand bag or a heavy bag between 50 lbs to 100lbs and a place to walk, a football field would be good or your back yard.
I like a heavy bag because of the toughness to grip it.
For 30 minutes non stop you grab your heavy bag or sand bag shoulder it and walk 50 yards drop the bag as soon as it touches the ground shoulder it again using the other shoulder and walk back 50 yards and continue this for 30 minutes and feel the pain your body is going straight through and think about the pain you will be in for days.
Think it's too easy try doing 20 pushups every time you drop the bag, get up throw on your shoulder and go again.
This is a full body impel conditioner but very tough all I want to know is who has the guts to try it?
